
About Memphis Touchdown Club
The Memphis Touchdown Club was established in 1975. Today, the Club's purpose and mission are the following:
1. To promote the game of college football for the benefit and enjoyment of the Club's members and guests.
2. To promote Memphis as a national sports city and destination.
3. The presentation of the American Football Coaches Association's (AFCA)
Annual Academic Achievement Award.
4. Benefit Le Bonheur Children's Hospital.
2025 Speaker Series
Presented by
We are pleased to announce the 2025 Fall Speaker Series for the Memphis Touchdown Club, presented by Landers Auto Group. This will be a 8-event series beginning on Monday, August 18th.
All but one event will be held at the Hilton Memphis Hotel. The Ryan Silverfield meeting will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Germantown.
All are evening events beginning at 5:30pm

The Memphis Touchdown Club Speaker Series will once again partner with
Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital and a portion of our proceeds will go to benefit Le Bonheur. 92.9 FM ESPN and WREG-TV in Memphis are the media partners for the Memphis Touchdown Club’s Spring Football Speaker Series.

Memphis Touchdown Club Presents 2024 AFCA Academic Achievement Award
The Memphis Touchdown Club continued its long tradition of the presenting the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Academic Achievement Award at the recent AFCA Convention in Charlotte. The Award is sponsored by BSN SPORTS. Seven universities were honored: Air Force, Clemson, Liberty, Notre Dame, Virginia, Wisconsin and Wake Forest. All seven schools shared the highest graduation rate for members of their 2017 freshman football student-athlete classes, based on the NCAA’s Graduation Success Rate. The Academic Achievement Award was established in 1981.
