The Memphis Touchdown Club was established in 1975 as a Civic Service Club to promote fellowship among its members through meetings and social functions and having as its sole civic endeavors the following:
I. The promotion of the sport of football and athletics, in general, for the common good and benefit of the citizens of the greater Memphis area.
II. The promotion of the City of Memphis as a National Sports City.
III. The presentation of the Academic Achievement Award to the American Football Coaches Association.
IV. Benefit Le Bonheur Children's Hospital.
2024 Fall Speaker Series
Presented by
We are pleased to announce the Fall Speaker Series for the Memphis Touchdown Club, presented by Landers Auto Group. This will be a 9-event series beginning on Monday, August 20th. Each event will be held at the Hilton Memphis Hotel beginning at 5:30 pm. Admission is only available by purchasing the full, nine (9) event package for $475.
The Memphis Touchdown Club Spring Speaker Series will once again partner with
Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital and a portion of our proceeds will go to benefit Le Bonheur. 92.9 FM ESPN in Memphis will be the radio partner for the Memphis Touchdown Club’s Fall Football Speaker Series.

Memphis Touchdown Club Presents 2024 AFCA Academic Achievement Award
The Memphis Touchdown Club continued its long tradition of the presenting the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Academic Achievement Award at the recent AFCA Convention in Charlotte. The Award is sponsored by BSN SPORTS. Seven universities were honored: Air Force, Clemson, Liberty, Notre Dame, Virginia, Wisconsin and Wake Forest. All seven schools shared the highest graduation rate for members of their 2017 freshman football student-athlete classes, based on the NCAA’s Graduation Success Rate. The Academic Achievement Award was established in 1981.
The Memphis Touchdown Club congratulates this year’s Academic Achievement Award recipients and thanks BSN SPORTS for its outstanding support!
